PSS - Trade from Europe, Canary Islands to US and The Caribbean
As per our previous communication in May, we announced the increase of PSS rate due to the strong demand of containers and consequent difficulties to supply needed equipment. As the situation remains unchanged, MSC will increase the Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) for cargo moving from NWC, ScanBaltic, West Med, Adriatic and Canary Islands to US (all coasts) and the Caribbean.
As from 1 October 2021 and until further notice, the PSS will increase as follows:
- from current USD 1’700 to USD 2’200 per 20’
- from current USD 1’700 to USD 2’700 per 40’
Any other elements of the price, for the relevant trades published on msc.com, still apply and remain unchanged. Please consult MSC’s website or contact your local agent for any further information.
