Contingency Adjustment Charge – Trade North Europe, West and East Med To Indian Subcontinent, Red Sea, East Africa

In view of the recent events in the Red Sea, MSC has taken the decision to divert its ships via the Cape of Good Hope to maintain the safety of the crew, cargo, and ship.
This diversion will mean an increase in transit time depending on the destination and/or transhipment point involved.
As a result, as from 01 January 2024 (last container gate in date) until further notice, MSC will implement a Contingency Adjustment Charge (CAC) on all shipments, direct and transhipment, for the below services:
