GSL Grania Vessel Incident on Elephant Service

Maersk, as the charterer of the GSL GRANIA, has informed us of a collision with a tanker while en route from Savannah, USA, to Tanjung Pelepas, Malaysia. According to preliminary information from the Owners, the vessel which is operating on MSC’s Elephant service has sustained damage to the hull. No container damage, pollution or injuries have been reported.

The vessel is currently en route to Tanjung Pelepas, for further assessment on arrival.
