As world leader in shipping and logistics, MSC provides transport solutions to various industries such as consumer goods (including apparels, footwear, electronics and white goods), automotive and seafood. MSC started its first service from Singapore to Europe in 1996 and established its Singapore office the same year. Since then, it has been connecting Singapore to the world.
The Asia Regional Office, located at Suntec City Office Towers oversees MSC’s operations in the Asia-Pacific region. We transport every year 22.5 million containers (TEUs) around the world, Asia being one of the most important markets.
MSC collaborates with other industry players. For instance, we jointly manage and operate the MSC-PSA Asia Terminal (MPAT) in Singapore, which occupies three berths at Pasir Panjang Terminal and has an annual capacity of over 2 million TEUs.

Investing In A Modern, Efficient Fleet
MSC operates one of the youngest fleets in the world, including some of the world's most low-carbon footprint vessels available today.
Our ultra large vessels (Gülsün Class and Celestino Maresca Class) help us in achieving economies of scale, resulting in lower carbon emissions per container carried. MSC launched its new record breaking 24,000+ TEU Celestino Maresca class vessels in July 2023 - the biggest and most fuel-efficient containerships by design.

Harnessing Digitalization
Digitalisation is a top priority for MSC. Through investment into digital solutions, we are effectively looking at ways to transform offline and time-consuming activities into more cost-effective ways of doing business with our customers. At the same time, we actively contribute to a wide range of cross-industry initiatives, including collaborative projects with governments for better data-sharing, the Future International Trade (FIT) Alliance, and the Rotterdam-Singapore Green and Digital Shipping corridor.
